Courses & Accreditation

Rugby Gold Coast conducts courses throughout the year. All courses are professionally staffed and all instructors receive specialist training in ARU course delivery. Courses are specifically designed for the age of the players and the experience of the coaches.

Smart Rugby
Safety course mandatory for all coaches and referees.

Coaching Kids Rugby
Seminar for coaches involved in Walla Rugby U6 - 8, Mini U9 - 10, Midi U11 - 12. Smart Rugby is included in this course.

Foundation Course
Entry level course for coaches involved in U13 - Seniors. The course focuses on laws, technical skills/drills and effective coaching practice. Smart Rugby is included in this course.

Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
Available without attending a course. If you are already Smart Rugby compliant you can register to complete a Laws & Safety exam and undertake a field assessment.

Level 2 Coaching Course & Accreditation
Intermediate level course focusing on developing a coach's tactical knowledge of the game.

Advanced Coaching Seminars
Presentations by professional coaches on the current practices involved in the game.
